Anti Bribery Policy

This is the Anti-Bribery Policy (“Policy”) of Houselogic Limited and its group of companies (“Houselogic”) which sets-out Houselogic’ policy on anti-bribery and in conjunction with the Ethics & Integrity Policy reflects Houselogic’ systems and controls for avoiding circumstances which may otherwise give rise to acts of bribery or corruption.

The Policy is sponsored by the Board of Directors of Houselogic Limited and by each Board of Directors of the relevant company within our Group.

The Policy reflects the behaviours expected by Houselogic of its statutory directors; senior managers; managers; and other individual employees when conducting business on Houselogic’ behalf together with the behaviours expected by Houselogic of its contractors; suppliers; agents; and business partners including any person associated with Houselogic.

It is expected by Houselogic that the letter and spirit of the Policy is observed and adhered to by its statutory directors; senior managers; managers; and individual employees.

The Policy should be read in conjunction with the Ethics & Integrity Policy and with all other relevant policies incepted by Houselogic.

Statement of Policy

Houselogic expects the highest standards of professionalism; ethical conduct; and standards of integrity on the part of its statutory directors; senior manager; managers; and all individual employees.

Houselogic expects the same standards from its contractors; suppliers; agents; and business partners including any person associated with Houselogic.

Houselogic including its statutory directors; senior managers; managers; and all individual employees will not undertake; tolerate; or condone any act of bribery or corrupt practice howsoever arising.

Operation and General

The Policy shall operate in conjunction with the Ethics & Integrity Policy and with the Gifts, Hospitality & Benefits Policy. The Policy shall operate in conjunction with best-practice and industry norms and shall not operate as a substitute for, or limitation of, any best-practice or industry norm applicable.

The Policy shall not undermine or affect any legal; statutory; or regulatory right or other applicable obligations.

The Policy means that Houselogic shall use all reasonable endeavours and adopt all appropriate procedures to ensure that none of its statutory directors; senior managers; managers; and other individual employees will do any of the following.

  • Offer; promise; or give a bribe or improper inducement including any wrongful advantage (directly or indirectly).
  • Request; agree to; receive; or accept a bribe or improper inducement including any wrongful advantage (directly or indirectly).
  • Make or capitulate to wrongful demands; illegal payments; illicit payments; or otherwise allow any unlawful payment to any person including to (but not limited to) agents; business partners; or public officials whether in the UK or otherwise.
  • Make or receive any hospitality or gift which is disproportionate or excessive or which is otherwise improper.

Houselogic promotes awareness and compliance amongst its statutory directors; senior managers; managers; and individual employees of its relevant policies including its Ethics & Integrity Policy and its Anti-Bribery Policy for the purpose of preventing bribery and corruption.
